Payment and Policies

Session Length

Sessions last 45 minutes and include time for parent feedback. We use highly motivating activities to engage children and make learning fun! In order to promote carryover, we use familiar toys or provide the family with activities similar to the ones that their child uses. Praise is frequent!

Payment/ Insurance

We gladly accept private pay clients, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Harvard Pilgrim insurances. Although these plans are accepted, families are responsible for any balances.

Through timely completion of paperwork, we will do our best to ensure coverage throughout treatment; however, it is important to note that services may not be covered until the time of discharge. Although we are not contracted with other insurance companies, we will happily provide you with the paperwork required to submit out of network claims.

Sick Policy/ Excessive Cancellations

If your child is sick with fever or upset stomach, please be sure that he/she is free of the symptoms for a full 24 hours before the visit. If more than three consecutive appointments are cancelled due to vacation or extracurricular activities, your scheduled session time may be forfeited.

Marble Towers

marble tower toyJeannette says: Marble towers are one of my favorite activities to play with children. They have a huge age range — I start using them when children outgrow the mouthing phase and even in my thirties, I still love building them! I target linguistic concepts, like tall, fast, slow, long, short, and colors. I use this activity to build expressive language skills by having children ask for and describe pieces. I also build receptive language skills by having children follow directions to create our masterpiece!
